I think this band doesn't need an introduction but for those who don't know them, meet the Coldplay! They were formed back in 1996 by the lead vocalist Chris Martin. They got their stage name after the four members got together! Several successful albums, awesome reviews, incredible voices, music style and inspiration. Their last album was Mylo Xyloto and their fans went babanas after the release. Coldplay just announced the release of their brand new album in May 2014 under the title "Ghost Stories". Their first single is going to be "Magic" and we have it today on LOMW. Feel free to share it and Like our official Facebook page: facebook.com/lyricsonmywall. Enjoy!!!
Coldplay-Magic
Call it magic
Call it true
I call it magic
When I'm with you
And I just got broken
Broken into two
Still I call it magic
When I'm next to you
And I don't and I don't and I don't and I don't
No, I don't it's true
I don't, no I don't, no I don't, no I don't
Want anybody else but you
I don't, no I don't, no I don't, no I don't
No, I don't it's true
I don't, no I don't, no I don't, no I don't
Want anybody else but you
Call it magic
Cut me into two
And with all your magic
I disappear from view
And I can't get over
Can't get over you
Still I call it magic
Such a precious jewel
And I don't and I don't and I don't and I don't
No, I don't it's true
I don't, no I don't, no I don't, no I don't
Want anybody else but you
I don't, no I don't, no I don't, no I don't
No, I don't it's true
I don't, no I don't, no I don't, no I don't
Want anybody else but you
Want to fall, fall so far
I want to fall, fall so hard
And I call it magic
And I call it true
I call it magic
And if you were to ask me
After all that we've been through
Still believe in magic?
Yes, I do
Of course I do
We welcome our new members in our Facebook page with this post. The 1975 is a band based in Manchester. Their style is generational garage rock, B&W Art. We have met this genre again with The Neighborhood. You will see how all their music videos are in Black and White and the outcome is always amazing. The 1975 has been discarded many times before from the major labels, judging their identity in music. They have released already their self-titled debut album and met enormus recognition from the listeners of alternative music. Today we decide to post their "Settle Down". As the lead singer Matthew Healy states "With ‘Settle Down’ I wanted to make a story about the extension of that dream, a video that explores love, a video that was as fantastical, consuming and limitless as the love we all chase and desire. Love as I have always imagined." So here it is, with all its glory "Settle Down" by The 1975.
The 1975-Settle Down
A soft sound to the way she wears her hair down
Covering up her face
Oh what a let down, I don't seem to be having any effect now
Falling all over the place
You're losing your words
We're speaking in bodies
Avoiding me and talking about you
You're losing your turn
I guess I'll never learn
Cause I stay another hour or two
For crying out loud, settle down!
You know I can't be found with you
We get back to my house
Your hands, my mouth
Now I just stop myself around you
A small town dictating all the people we get around
What a familiar face
Do you get what I mean now?
I'm so fixated on the girl with the soft sound
And hair all over the place
You're sure that I'd learn
I'm pushing through bodies
Avoiding me and walking around you
You're cold and I burn
I guess I'll never learn
Cause I stay another hour or two
You are about to ask yourself "Why haven't I heard of them before?".And it's a good question. La Luz have everything you need. Melodic harmonies, great lyrics and a twist in between. You start listening to a sweet song but if you pay attention the lyrics are screeming pain and loss. They are coming from Seattle and their song "Call Me In The Day" has a wonderful music video with super cinematography! Check it out here and enjoy the good music. Before the sun goes down
If it's getting late
I won't pick up the phone
Well, you see me only on the need
In the evening, when you're feeling mean
As a boulder slowly gaining speed on down a hill
In your path, nothing I could do
Well, you see me only on the need
In the evening, breaking at the seams
As a boulder slowly gaining speed on down a hill
In your path, nothing we could do
This is a different post to open this week. It gives you the right vibes for a good meditation. A nice journey in your inner self. We are talking about "Wise Enough" by Lamb, a song with questions and answers for the biggest human issues. Are we wise enough to handle them? What Lamb is: two creative spirits, hungry, unfettered by commercial pressure and desperate to make new music.Their music video is a metaphysical journey through the desert of a decaying industrial landscape to the embrace of the sea. The official selection for UK Film Festival. Enjoy some good art and like our official facebook page: facebook.com/lyricsonmywall Lamb-Wise Enough
I had a dream that all of time was running dry
And life was like a comet falling from the sky
I woke so frightened in the dawning, oh, so clear
How precious is the time we have here
Are we not wise enough to give all we are?
Surely we’re bright enough to outshine the stars
The human kind gets so lost in finding its way
But we have a chance to make a difference 'til our dying day
And you might pray to God, or say it’s destiny
But I think we are just hiding all that we can be
Are we not wise enough to give all we are?
Surely we’re bright enough to outshine the stars
The human kind gets so lost in finding its way
But we have a chance to make a difference 'til our dying day
All I’m really asking is: what are we doing here?
Are we just killing time? Just living year to year?
In this big world, no one else can play our part
Ain’t it time to just wake up and give it all
Are we not wise enough to give all we are?
Surely we’re bright enough to outshine the stars
The human kind gets so lost in finding its way
We have a chance to make a difference 'til our dying day
We have a chance to make a difference 'til our dying day
We have a chance to make a difference 'til our dying day

No need to translate,
'Cause my eyes give me away,
Even though my lips don't say.
This should be so easy,
But my head gets in the way,
All the things that I want to tell you.
You're the most perfect yet,
Most definitely that I've met,
And I wonder if you know that's how I feel about you.
I hope you know.
'Cause I have so much love for you.
Do with it what you will.
And I have nothing more to prove,
Say to me what you will.
Say, say it again.
Not enough lovers in life to go around
But there's you and there's me,
If we don't start it out, mmm.
It's not hard to let go
Enough to let me in.
If it's meant to be,
It can only be good.
You're the most perfect fit,
Most definitely that I've met,
And I hope that you feel the same way too
About me, just let me know.
Can you take it from me?
(Can you take it?)
If I give, can you receive? Oh,
(Can you take it?)
I'm reaching out,
(Can you take it?)
Giving everything.
(Will you take it)
I give you my heart, I give you my soul,
I give you it all.

Let the bough break, let it come down crashing
Let the sun fade out to a dark sky
I can't say I'd even notice it was absent
'Cause I could live by the light in your eyes
I'll unfold before you
Would have strung together
The very first words of a lifelong love letter
Tell the world that we finally got it all right
I choose you
I will become yours and you will become mine
I choose you
I choose You, yeah
There was a time when I would have believed them
If they told me that you could not come true
Just love's illusion
But then you found me
And everything changed
And I believe in something again
My whole heart
Will be yours forever
This is a beautiful start
To a lifelong love letter
Tell the world that we finally got it all right
I choose You
I will become yours and you will become mine
I choose You
I choose You
We are not perfect we'll learn from our mistakes
And as long as it takes I will prove my love to you
I am not scared of the elements I am underprepared,
But I am willing
And even better
I get to be the other half of you
Tell the world that we finally got it all right
I choose You, yeah
I will become yours and you will become mine
I choose You
I choose You
I chooseYou
You might not always get to hear Landon Pigg speak his mind – but you’ll always hear him sing it. And that is even better because this is how the music -world owns one of its diamonds. Pigg became very famous after his AMAZING song "This Is The Way It Ends" got featured in Grey's Anatomy 6th season finale. The song we are talking about today speaks from its title. "Falling In Love At A Coffee Shop". The music video is a masterpiece of play and pause! You can watch the music video and read the lyrics here. I think that possibly, maybe I'm falling for you
Yes, there's a chance that I've fallen quite hard over you
I've seen the paths that your eyes wander down, I wanna come too
I think that possibly, maybe I'm falling for you
No one understands me quite like you do
Through all of the shadowy corners of me
I never knew just what it was
About this old coffee shop I love so much
All of the while I never knew
I never knew just what it was
About this old coffee shop I love so much
All of the while I never knew
I think that possibly, maybe I'm falling for you
Yes, there's a chance that I've fallen quite hard over you
I've seen the waters that make your eyes shine, now I'm shining too
Because, oh, because I've fallen quite hard over over you
If I didn't know you, I'd rather not know
If I couldn't have you, I'd rather be alone
I never knew just what it was
About this old coffee shop I love so much
All of the while I never knew
I never knew just what it was
About this old coffee shop I love so much
All of the while I never knew
All of the while, all of the while it was you
